j <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Second reading: Third reading: S RESOLU TION N0. 85 - 35 <br />First reading: W71 .Z ks <br /> <br />BY: &445i? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SAFEI'Y TO ADVEKTISE FOR BIDS FOR A WATER <br />COOLANrI' TOWER FOR THE NORTH OLMSTED RECREATION <br />CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SANiE, AND DECLARING AN IIKERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is necessary to <br />conserve water expenses at the Nor'ch Olmsted Recreation Center, and <br />Whereas, it is the desire of this Council to authorize <br />the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for same. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUN'I'Y OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Fublic Safety be and he <br />is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase and install- <br />ation of a water coolant tower for the North Olmsted Recreation Center, <br />which shall be in accordance with the specifications now on file in his <br />office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Ma.yor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public <br />health, safety and welfare and further, provided it receives the affirm- <br />ative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force irrnnediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />PASSED: )Xn.IA / ,FS <br />77 <br />A'I'I'EST : <br />?
