CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 85-3 <br />PAGE 4 <br />If within the probationary period of one (1) year <br />an operator leaves the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line, then he/she must reimburse the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line for the amount of money spent from the clothing allow- <br />ance. <br />C. The North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall establish <br />the vendors from which all applicable employees purchase their <br />uniforms. <br />SECTION 4: Paid Holidavs <br />That all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall receive holiday pay for the following nine (g) <br />holidays: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, <br />Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, December 24th, Christmas Day and <br />the Employees Birthday. <br />The Holiday pay and observance of December 24th shall be <br />determined by management so as not to interfere with the sched- <br />uled operations of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />The observance of Presidents Day shall occur on the employees <br />employment anniversary date (full time starting date), unless <br />it interferes with the scheduled operations of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, whereby another date shall be chosen. <br />If any employee is required to work on any of the following <br />eight (8) holidays; New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, <br />July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the <br />Employees Birthday, tYien the employee shall be paid time and one- <br />half for such work in addition to the holiday pay. <br />SECTION 5: Vacations <br />That all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line shall be entitled to an annual vacation which is based <br />on the number of years of service in accordance with the following <br />schedule. <br />A. Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time <br />service. <br />B. I'hree (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full <br />time service. <br />C. Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full <br />time service. <br />D. Five (5) weeks vacation after twenty (20) years full <br />time service. <br />Each week shall be considered five (5) work days for the <br />purpose of determining vacation payment for a total of forty <br />(40) hours. <br />SECTION 6: Life Insurance <br />As soon as can be implemented a group term life insurance <br />and accidental death and disability plan will be available to <br />all full time employees. The City of North Olmsted shall pay <br />the cost for said policy, which shall be in the dollar amount <br />of insurance as provided by the Regional Transit Authority, to <br />its employees, under their similiar life insurance program.
