TALLON <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPLEMENT OF THE PARKS <br />AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AFFIXING THE COMPENSATION TO <br />BE PAID THE MEMBERS THEREOF AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. <br />84-120, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: The complement of the Parks and Recreation Department, <br />schedule of benefits, and compensation to be paid to the members of that staff, <br />is established as follows: <br />Part-time employees starting salaries will be based on the following <br />classifications: <br />A. Class I(minimum wage) $3.35 -$6.00 per hour. <br />1) Life Guards 4) Custodial <br />2) Ice Rink Guards 5) Nursery <br />3) Concessionaires 6) Skate Rental Attendants <br />B. Class II (20G above minimum wage) $3.55 -$6.00 per hour. <br />1) Maintenance 4) Water Safety Instructors <br />2) Cashiers (teaching hours only) <br />3) Pro Shop 5) Typist 6) Clerical Assistant <br />C. Class III (65q, above minimum wage) $4.00 -$6.00 per hour. <br />1) Supervisors <br />D. Class IV ($4.00 -$12.00 per hour) Starting salaries specif ied in <br />this section shall be determined by the Parks and Recreation Director. <br />A per weekly, monthly or program compensation may also be established <br />based on an appropriate hourly wage. <br />1) Clinic Instructors <br />2) Program Directors/Supervisors <br />3) Pro Shop Manager <br />4) Concession Manager <br />5) Head Skate Pro <br />6) Playground Leaders ($110 to $150 per week) <br />7) Playground Assistant Supervisor ($125 to $210 per week) <br />8) Playground Supervisor ($150 to $210 per week) <br />9) Special Recreation (Handicapped) Supervisor (Summer) <br />10) Special Recreation (Handicapped) Assistant Sugervisor (Summer)
