-, ? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 86- 43 <br />PAGE 3 <br />(5) The Commission shall advise the City Planning <br />Commission of the nomination and request a written <br />statement concerning its recommendation as it <br />relates to the Comprehensive Plan of North Olmsted. <br />(6) The Commission shall inform the property <br />owners of the status of the nomination after <br />Planning Commission review. <br />(7) The Commission shall hold a Public Meeting for <br />property owners, residents, and interested parties <br />for the purpose of discussion. <br />(8) The Commission shall submit to City Council <br />the complete report including recommendation, <br />Planning Commission's statement and results of the <br />Public Meeting. <br />(9) After review of the Landmarks Commission's <br />report, City Council nay designate by ordinance the <br />nominated site as an official North Olmsted <br />Landmark District. If approved, the Landmarks <br />Commission shall notify the City Building <br />Department of the Official Landmark District. <br />(10) The Comrnission shall notify the property <br />owners of the official action designating the <br />Landmark District. <br />(11) The Landmarks Commission shall recognize the <br />official Landmarks District• <br />(b) The Commission shall have the following rights <br />and responsibilities.: <br />(1) The official Landmarks District plaque shall <br />remain the property of the City of North Olmsted. <br />(2) If a home in the District fails to qualify as <br />an appropriate home due to non-approved changes or <br />failure to meet standards, the Commission may, <br />through City Council upon written application, <br />remove the Landmarks designation plaque or if the
