CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ,ORDINANCE N0. 87-136 PAGE SIX 1321.04 ELECTRICAL LICENSE AND FEES. The following fee schedule shall prevail for all electrical work performed: (a) Certificate of Registration: Reference is made to Codified Ordinance Section No. 1317.08. (1) Registration fee (Calendar Year)----------- -------------------- --------- 75.00 (2) Renewal (if made by January 31st of following year of registration)----- $ 50.00 (3) After August 31st, prior to November 20th------------------------------- $ 40.00 (4) After November 20th (certif icate will be issued for following year)----- $ 75.00 (b) Work to be Performed: (1) Residential, new construction____________________________________ ------- $ 50.00 (2) Residential, additions or alterations (a) Minimum fee--------------------------------------------------------- $ 15.00 (b) Per outlet and switches____________________________________________ $ .75 (c) Outlets in excess of 120 volts per outlet--------------------------- $ 2,00 (3) Commercial or industrial, new. construction or additions: (a) Minimum fee------------------------- -------------------------------- $ 30.00 (b) Also per receptacle, unit fixture or outlet------------------------- $ 1.00 (4) High intensity lighting outlets: (a) Motion picture projector of 1,000 Watts or more--------------------- $ 25.00 (b) Light outlets of 1,000 Watts or more-------------------------------- $ 25.00 (c) Outlets for: heat treating equipment, welding equipment, permanent wave apparatus, hair dryers and similar commercial devices each: Over 10 kilowatts--------------------------------------------------- $ 15.00 (d) Power outlets: transformers, generators, batteries (prim. and second), rectifiers, electrostatic filters and motors, including controls, distribution and connections thereto, each: Up to 1 HP---------------------------------------------------------- $ 5.00 Over 1 HP, up to 3 HP----------------------------------------------- $ 6.00 Over 3 HP, up to 6 HP----------------------------------------------- $ 8.00 Over 6 HP, up to 10 HP---------------------------------------------- $ 10.00 Over 10 HP, up to 15 HP--------------------------------------------- $ 16.00 Over 15 HP---------------------------------------------------------- $ 18.00 (e) X-Ray machines and equipment, each---------------------------------- $ 20.00 NOTE: See Homeowners' Permit 1321.05 PERMIT CONDITIONS AND SPECIAL FEES (a) Building permits issued under th is fee schedule shall expire as follows• (1) Homeowners permit - 3 months from the date of issuance. (2) All others as follows: (a) Under $10,000 evaluation - 4 months from the date of issuance (b) $10,000 to $50,000 evaluation - 6 months from the date of issuance (c) Over $50,000 - 9 months from the date of issuance. (NOTE: Two extensions equal to the original time period allotted may be granted provided circumstances warrant and it is requested in writing within ten days of the expiration date.) (b) Reinspection fees: (not applicable to homeowners' permits)• (1) If an inspection is requested and for any reason the work is found unsatisfactory or incomplete, a $10.00 fee shall be assessed. (2) If work is covered without benef it of an inspection, it shall be revealed and a $15.00 fee assessed. (3) For all permits where a final inspection has not been requested, in writing, prior to the expiration of the permit, an inspection shall be made 15 days after the ex- piration date and a $25.00 fee assessed.
