Page 6 ~,`' <br /> <br />4.3 A check in the amount of the total dues and Fair Share Fees withheld from <br />those Employees authorizing dues and Fair Share Fees deductions shall be <br />tendered to the Treasurer of the Association within fourteen days from the <br />date of the deductions. The Employer shall supply the Association with a <br />list of those gnployees for when deduction has been made. <br />4.4 The Association agrees to hold the Err~loyer harmless from arty and all <br />liabilities and damages which may arise frown the performance of its, the <br />Employers, obligations under this article and the Association shall <br />indemnify the IIr~loyer for any such liabilities or damages that do arise. <br />ARTICLE V <br />NOI~IDISCRIlKLIQATION <br />5.1 The parties to this Agreement agree to ccntinue their policy of non- <br />discrimination as required by applicable law based on sex, race, creed, <br />disability, national origin ar age, regarding e~loymmannt, referral for <br />employment, employment advancement, working condition, rates of pay, <br />acceptance into Association membership or selection for apprentice <br />openings. <br />5.2 The Employer and the Association recognize the right of all Employees to <br />be free to loin the Association, should they so desire, and to participate <br />in lawful Association activities. The Employer and the Association agree <br />that-there shall be no discriminattion by the Fhiployer or the Association <br />against any Employee because of Association membership or nori-m~nbership. ~; <br />ARTTCTF VI <br />R'[1LFS, REGULATIONS AND OHI7EFiS <br />The Association agrees that its members shall c~ly with-all Fire Dint <br />rules, regulations and orders, including those relating to conduct and work <br />performance. <br />ARTT(`TF. VTr <br />GRIEVANCE ~ <br />7.1 Every Employee shall have the right to present his Grievance in accordance <br />with the procedure .provided .herein, free fran any interference, coercion, <br />restraint, discrimination or reprisal. It is the intent and piu~pose of <br />the parties to this Agreement that all Grievances shall be settled at the <br />lo~rest possible step of this procedure. <br /> <br />
