Longevity <br />shall be computed on the base salary <br />and be <br />4% after 5 years of continuous service ` <br />5% after 10 years of continuous service <br />6% after 15 Years of continuous service <br />7% after 20 years of continuous service <br />Normal Work Schedule One twenty-four (24) consecutive hour <br />shift followed by forty-eight ~(48) hours <br />off duty. HOWEVER, FOR REASONS OF SHIFT <br />TRANSFER, TRAINING, LIGHT DUTY OR <br />EMEE~ENCY DISAS'I~t, THE FIRE CHIEF' MAY <br />CHANGE AN EMPLOYEE'S WORK SHIFTS TO <br />MEET THE FMPIAYER'S NEEDS THAT ARE <br />AFFECTED BY A SI~'r ZRANSF~R, TRAIlQING, <br />LIGHT DUTY ~ II~GENCY DZSASIi~. <br />Overtime Any time worked in excess of eight hours <br />a day or in excess of 40 hours per week <br />by Fire Prevention Persormel. In the <br />case of Fire Suppression Persarmel, <br />any time worked in excess of 24 hours <br />in a 72 hour period. <br />0~~~ p~ That rate of pay equal to one and one <br />half tames the Basic Hourly Rate of Pay <br />plus Longevity. <br />Paramedic Certificatioa~ <br />Safety Director <br />Seniority <br />ShiftCa~tain <br />That certification as awarded by the State <br />of Ohio in accordance with Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />The individual occupying the positi~ of <br />Safety Director of the Employer from <br />time to time. <br />A position determdried by continuous <br />service in the Fire Department from the <br />date of employment. Continuous service <br />shall be broken only by resignation, <br />discharge, retirement or leave of absence <br />for P~ reasons. Employees with the <br />same employment date shall be assigned <br />seniority in order of their ranking on <br />the Civil Service. eligibility list. <br />The individual designated as such or~his <br />designee. <br />~~ <br />
