....,:..«1 ..:.,. <br />~ ~ +M a <br />i <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of this Council be and she is hereby <br />authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to <br />the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 5: That the ballot submitting the questions of the adoption of <br />the aforesaid amendment shall read as follows, or as otherwise directed by <br />the election authorities: <br />PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO <br />A majority affirmative vote necessary for passage. <br />Shall an amendment to Article III Section 2 of the Charter be amended <br />to permit the Mayor to serve as a member or official of any organization of <br />governments or governmental officials or special unit of government and to <br />permit the Mayor to serve as a member or official in any non-profit <br />corporation to represent the City. <br />SECTION 6: That the Board of Elections is hereby requested to cause <br />appropriate notice of such election to be duly given in accordance with <br />law. <br />SECTION 7: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />property, health and safety of the City and for the further reason that <br />this Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to permit necessary <br />arrangements to be made in sufficient time for said election; wherefore, <br />this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage. <br />PASSED: ~~r~ <br />ATTEST: <br />b • ~~~~ <br />FLORENCE E.
