Section 5: If an employee does not use sick leave time for <br />a six-month period from January 1st to June 30th, or for a six- <br />month period from July 1st to December 31st, he shall receive two <br />personal days off. Such bonus days may be taken at a time <br />mutually agreeable to the City and the employee. Such bonus days <br />must be taken within one year of accrual. IIp to one absence per <br />year for attending a funeral as provided in Article 15 may be <br />used without effecting eligibility for bonus days. <br />Section 6: To be entitled to holiday pay, employees must <br />work the last regular work day before and the first regular work <br />day after the holiday unless excused by the City. If any of the <br />above holidays fall on a Saturday or a Sunday, either the <br />previous Friday or the following Monday shall be observed as the <br />holiday. <br />ARTICLE 23: CALL-IN PAY <br />Section 1: If an employee receives prior notification of <br />call-in during his previous shift, and the overtime work is <br />continuous with scheduled work hours, the employee shall receive <br />pay at the applicable rate only for actual overtime hours worked. <br />If, however, an employee does not receive prior notification of <br />call-in during his previous shift, he shall receive a minimum of <br />three (3) hours work or three (3) hours pay. <br />34 <br /> <br />
