A G R E E M E N T <br />Thia Agreement is made between the City of North Olmsted <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "City"), and Western Cuyahoga Lodge No. 25 <br />Fraternal Order of Police, North Olmsted Division (hereinafter referred to <br />as the "F.O.P."). <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a fair and <br />reasonable method of enabling employees covered by this Agreement to <br />participate, through representation, in the establishment of terms and <br />conditions of their employment, and to establish a peaceful procedure for <br />the resolution of differences between the parties. <br />ARTICLE I <br />RECOGNITION <br />The Administration recognized the F.O.P. as the sole and <br />exclusive bargaining representative for all full-time Police Officers in <br />the City of North Olmsted comprised of the following two bargaining units <br />(i) Patrolmen and (ii) Sergeants through Captain, inclusive, and exclusive <br />of Chief of Police, for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect <br />to rates of pay, wages, hours of work and conditions of employment. It is <br />#,. <br />further understood by the parties that wages, total complement of <br />personnel, and certain other economic provisions are subject to enactment <br />of an appropriate Ordinance by the North Olmsted City Council pursuant to <br />the City Charter. <br />-1- <br />
