Up <br />to one absence per year for attending a funeral as provided <br />in Paragraph 37 may be used without affecting eligibility <br />for bonus days. <br />52. To be entitled to holiday pay, employees must work <br />the last regular work day before and the first regular work <br />day after the holiday unless excused by the City. If any of <br />the above holidays fall on a Saturday or a Sunday, either <br />the previous Friday or the following Monday shall be observed _ <br />as the holiday. ~- <br />CALL- IN PAY --. <br />53. If dispatchers and recreation maintenance personnel <br />receive prior notification of call-in during their previous - <br />shift, and the overtime work is continuous with scheduled <br />work hours, the employee shall receive pay at the applicable <br />rate only for actual overtime hours worked. If, however, an ~- <br />employee does not receive prior notification of call-in <br />during his previous shift, he shall receive a minimum of <br />two (2) hours' work or two (2) hours' pay. <br />NEW AND CHANGED JOBS <br />54. The parties agree that the jobs presently included <br />in the bargaining unit are such that the typical office and <br />maintenance equipment is currently being utilized. It is <br />not contemplated that there will be any substantial changes <br />in the method of operations, tools or equipment. However, <br />there may be new positions created as support to secretarial, <br />clerical and management positions in the area of computer <br />technology requiring programming skills or the like. If any <br />such position is established the City shall describe the <br />content of the job and shall establish a pay structure, the <br />job content, etc., of the job. <br />If the Union is not in agreement with the rate of <br />pay for the job, it can file a grievance at Step 3 of the <br />grievance procedure within thirty (30) days following the <br />termination of discussions concerning the rate of pay. If <br />the grievance is arbitrated, the arbitrator shall have the <br />- 20 - <br />
