Effective January 1, 1987, the night shift premium <br />for the Police Department clerks and the Recreation Depart- <br />ment Maintenance Personnel shall be twenty cents ($0.20) <br />per hour. <br />.~- <br />WORK BY SUPERVISORS `- <br />68. Supervisors will not perform bargaining unit work _ <br />to the extent that results in lay-off, a reduction in work <br />force or reduction of hours of work by bargaining unit <br />employees. Except for emergencies, a supervisor will not <br />perform bargaining unit tasks outside of the supervisor's _ <br />normal working hours to deny overtime opportunities to <br />bargaining unit personnel. <br />JOB DESCRIPTIONS <br />69. The job descriptions attached hereto and marked <br />Exhibits A-1 through A-14, effective January 1, 1987, shall <br />become a part of this memorandum. <br />llrTV nmrnnT <br />70. The Memorandum of Understanding shall become <br />effective on the first day of January, 1987, and shall <br />continue in full force and effect until 12:01 a.m. on <br />July 18, 1989, and thereafter from year to year unless at <br />least one hundred and twenty (120) days prior to said <br />expiration date, or any anniversary thereof, either party <br />gives timely written notice of an intention to reopen <br />negotiations, an initial conference will be arranged within <br />fourteen (14) days after receipt of such notice, but not <br />earlier than March 19 preceding expiration of this agree- <br />ment. <br />- 26 - <br />
