SECTION 1: That the City of North Olmsted does hereby declare its <br />intent to participate in the Bicentennial Celebrations of the Northwest <br />Ordinance and the establishment of the constitution of the United States of <br />America by providing the following: <br />a) Participating in a July 4th laser show, as well as a patriotic <br />musical program; <br />b) Designating the North Olmsted Homecoming days as developing a theme <br />centered around the Bicentennial as well as the establishment of the United <br />States Constitution; <br />c) Establishing a history tree designating various historic events <br />relating to the rings which are a cross section of a 200 year old tree; <br />d) Any other patriotic events deemed appropriate by the City <br />Administration and/or City Council.. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be in effect from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED• <br />ATTEST : <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />APPROVED :~ ~ ~ / 9~~ <br />c <br />M. vo ne Petrigac <br />~ ~ 1~J <br />J ET SARINGER, <br />ESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />First Reading: ,3 ~ <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading:~f~ <br />COMMITTEE: <br />2 <br />
