<br /> <br />COOPERATION AGREIIMENT <br />This Agreement is entered into by and between the City of North Olmsted <br />and the City of Westlake this day of , 1988, upon the <br />following terms and conditions: <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted and the City of Westlake share 2,640 <br />linear feet of roadway with a common border down the center of Maple Ridge <br />Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, said roadway is in need of repair; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of both cities to enter into a joint <br />Cooperation Agreement for the purpose of repairing and resurfacing said <br />roadway; and <br />WHEREAS, due to the City of North Olmsted having already bid out on a <br />unit price basis the annual resurfacing requirements of the City is deemed <br />wise and appropriate to have the City of North Olmsted act as lead agency <br />thereby contracting out for said project wi.th the City of Westlake <br />participating on a fifty-fifty (50/50) basis for the cost thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of both of the parties to set forth herein <br />the full and complete understanding of the parties as follows: <br />1. The two contracting cities agree that they will jointly cooperate <br />in the resurfacing of 2,640 linear feet of Maple Ridge Road; <br />2. The City of North Olmsted will act as the contracting agency with <br />the outside vendor with the City of Westlake participating in one-half of <br />the cost thereof; <br />3. Once the contract is prepared and executed by the outside vendor a <br />1
