of land, which are adjoining, are used for the same use, or <br />accessory uses, the setback line shall extend and be the same for <br />all lots or parcels of land so used. <br />(63) "Signboard" means any structure or part thereof on which lettered <br />or pictorial matter is displayed for advertising or notice <br />purposes. <br />(64) "Stable" means any building, structure or portion thereof which is <br />used for the shelter or care of horses, cattle or other similar <br />animals, either permanently or transiently. <br />(65) "Stable, private" means a structure with a total capacity for not <br />more than four animals. <br />(66) "Stable, public" means a structure with a capacity for more than <br />four animals. <br />(67) "Story" means that portion of a building between any floor and the <br />floor or roof next above, including a basement with a ceiling more <br />than four feet, six inches above the surface of the adjoinging <br />ground. <br />(68) "Story, half" means an uppermost story containing usable space <br />wholly or partly under a sloping roof, wherein the area of usable <br />floor space having a clear height of four feet or more exceeds <br />fifty percent (50%) of the floor area of any story below and the <br />area of floor space of clear height of seven feet or more does not <br />exceed seventy percent (70%) of any story below. Whenever the <br />area of floor space of clear height of seven feet or more exceeds <br />seventy percent (70%) of any story below, it shall be deemed to be <br />a full story. <br />(69) "Street" means a roadway or public way dedicated to public use. <br />(70) "Street line" means the exterior boundaries of a dedicated street. <br />(71) "Structure" means anything constructed or erected, the use of <br />which demands its permanent location on the land or anything <br />attached to something having a permanent location on the land. <br />(72) "Structural alterations" means any changing in the supporting <br />members of a building, such as bearing walls, columns, beams or <br />girders. <br />(73) "Terrace" means a natural or artificial embankment between a <br />building and its lot lines. <br />(74) "Terrace, height of" means the difference in elevation between the <br />curb level and the top of the terrace at the center of the <br />building wall. <br />(75) "Utility room" means a room at or above or not more than four feet <br />below the finished ground elevation in a dwelling and used or <br />designed to house equipment used for laundry, heating or other <br />related purposes. <br />(76) "Yard" means an open, unoccupied space, other than a court, on the <br />same lot with a building, unobstructed from the ground to the sky, <br />except as otherwise provided herein. <br />(77) "Yard, front" means a yard across the full width of the lot, <br />extending from the front line of the building to the front line of <br />the lot. <br />6
