(45) "Lot" means an area of land being described as a lot in a duly recorded subdivision or appearing as a single parcel on the Auditor's Map Records or subdivided into a separate area or parcel in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 711.001 or designated as such by the Board of Zoning Appeals. (46) "Lot, corner" means a lot abutting upon two or more streets as their intersection. (47) "Lot, depth of " means the mean horizontal distance measured between the front lot line and the rear lot line. (48) "Lot, interior" means a lot the side lines of which do not abut on a street. (49) "Lot, through" means an interior lot having frontage on two streets. (50) "Lot, width of" means the horizontal distance of a lot measured at the intersection of the building line and the mean lot depth line at right angles to the mean lot depth line. (51) "Lot line" means the line separating and bounding the lot from adjoining land whether public or private. (52) "Main building" means the building, all or part of which is occupied by the chief use or activity on the premises. (53) "Mixed occupancy" means the occupancy of a building or land for more than one use. (54) "Motel" means a building or part thereof operated as a public inn for profit, in which transients are lodged, with or without meals, and in which, as a rule, the rooms are occupied singly and not as dwelling units. (55) "Municipality" means the City of North Olmsted. (56) "Nursery school" means a place where normal children of not more than six years??of age are cared for and/or trained during the day. (57) Parking area means a lot or part thereof used solely for the temporary parking of motor vehicles. (58) "Person" means a person or persons, firm or corporation. (59) "Porch" means a roof, open structure projecting from the front, side or rear wall of a building, no part of which is enclosed by glass, wood or other material except screening more than thirty inches above the floor thereof, except the necessary columns to support the roof. (60) "Professional person" means one who is licensed or registered by the State of Ohio to practice his profession in this State. (61) "Repair" means the replacement or renewal of any part of an existing building or device for the purpose of maintenance. (62) "Setback" means the minimum distance from the street line or front property line to the building line measured along a line perpendicular to the street line or front property line, or in the case of an are street, measured perpendicular to the chord of the arc describing the front property line at its midpoint and measured from the chord line or from the radius of the arc itself, whichever is greater.
