The salaries of individuals within Subsection A- G of this section shall be <br />established by the Director of Public Service and the Ma.yor. <br />SECTION 12: That the following salaries are established for members of the Police <br />and Fire Departments <br />FROM TO <br />A. Chief of Police $45,600 Annually <br />B. Chief of Fire <br />C. Assistant Fire Chief <br />45,600 Annually <br />40,300 Aiuzua.lly <br />D. In addition to the salaries as specified herein, the Chief of Police, Chief of <br />Fire and Assistant Chief of Fire shall be entitled to any and all benefits afforded <br />the members of each of their respective departments. However, the over-time benefits <br />afforded the members of the Police and Fire Departments shall not apply to the G'hief <br />of Police and Chief of Fire. <br />SECTION 13: That the salary ranges and amounts established for the year 1988, <br />will be effective retroactive to January 1, 1988. Salaries specified in this <br />ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis. <br />SECTION 14: That the Foremen listed in Sections 6 and 7 hereof will be paid time <br />and one- a of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight <br />(8) hours in any one day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for <br />hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. Double time shall <br />be paid to said employees for Sundays and Holidays provided they have worked at <br />least forty (40) hours during the work week. <br />SECTION 15: That all full-time admi.nsitrative and legislative personnel listed <br />in this Or inance having campleted five (5) years of full-time continuous service as <br />employees of said depart.ments shall be paid an additional four percent (4a) of their <br />base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (lOth) year of full-tvne <br />continuous service after which such employee shall receive five percent (5a) of their base <br />a nnu al salary; thereafter until the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of <br />full-time continuous service, sucli employee shall receive six percent (60) of their base <br />annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time <br />continuous service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter, they shall <br />receive seven percent (70) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />_ ,, _
