YVONNE PETRIGAC <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 911.076(B), 911.076(E) <br />AND 911.077 ALL DEALING WITH TAP-IN CHARGES FOR <br />BENEFITED USERS WITHIN THE NORTH OLMSTED SEWER USE <br />DISTRICT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it is necessary to increase <br />the tap-in fees for benefited users within the use district of the North <br />Olmsted sewage treatment facilities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 911.076(b) which now reads: <br />(b) Schedule of Ta -In Charges Based on Benefited <br />Units. The Service Director shall not issue a permit <br />for the purpose described in subsection (a) hereof until <br />the applicant therefor has paid a tap-in charge to be <br />determined in accordance with the following: <br />If Permit Obtained: Benefited Unit of One <br />From January 1, 1975 to December 31, 1977 $325.00 <br />From January 1, 1978 to December 31, 1979 $420.00 <br />From January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1984 $483.00 <br />From January 1, 1985 and thereafter $555.00 <br />Such incremental charges are designed to offset in part the interest costs <br />incurred by the City in issuing notes and bonds and the loan from the Ohio <br />Water Development Authority to pay the cost of construction improvements <br />and extensions to the sewerage system which were not recovered by special <br />assessments. <br />Definition of Benefited Units <br />Single Family Resident Apartments: <br />Efficiency and one bedroom Number of apartment units x.5 <br />Two bedroom Number of apartment units x.75 <br />Three bedroom and over Number of apartment units x 1.0 <br />The number of benefited units to be assigned to nonresidential buildings, <br />1
