. . . ? ... . . ....... ..... . <br />structures or other facilities shall be determined by the Service Director <br />in the following manner. The Service Director shall review the preliminary <br />plans of the building, structure or other facility to be served by the <br />connection, together with other pertinent information, and based upon <br />accepted engineering practices determine the estimated average daily <br />quantitp of sewage to be discharged from such building, structure or other <br />facility to the sanitary sewer system. The quantitq so determined shall <br />then be divided by the estimated average daily quantity of sewage <br />discharged from a single-family residence and the resulting quotient <br />carried out to the nearest one-hundredth shall be the number of benefited <br />units assigned to such building, structure or other faclitp. The tap-in <br />charge will then be calculated by multiplying the number of benefited units <br />by the rate per unti applicable at such time. <br />Be and the same is hereby amended and as amended shall read as follows: <br />(b) Schedule of Ta -In Charges Based on Benefited <br />Units. The Service Director shall not issue a permit <br />for the purpose described in subsection (a) hereof until <br />the applicant therefor has paid a tap-in charge to be <br />determined in accordance with the following: <br />If Permit Obtained: Benefited Unit of One <br />From January 1, 1985 to March.31, 1988 $555.00 <br />From Apri1 l, 1988 to Apri1 30, 1989 $625.00 <br />From May 1, 1989 thereafter $700.00 <br />Such incremental charges are designed to offset in part the interest costs <br />incurred by the City in issuing notes and bonds and the loan from the Ohio <br />Water Development Authority to pay the cost of construction improvements <br />and extensions to the sewerage system which were not recovered by special <br />assessments. <br />Definition of Benefited Units <br />Single Family Resident Apartments: <br />Efficiency and one bedroom Number of apartment units x.5 <br />Two bedroom Number of apartment units x.75 <br />Three bedroom and over Number of apartment units x 1.0 <br />The number of benefited units to be assigned to nonresidential buildings, <br />structures or other facilities shall be determined bp the Service Director <br />in the following manner.
