j 13.9. Employees may use up to fifteen (15) work days per <br />-year of earned and accumulated sick leave if necessitated by <br />illness in the employee's immediate family. for purposes of this <br />subsection, "immediate family" shall be interpreted to be spouse, <br />children, parents of the employee, regardless of the place of <br />residence; and other relatives living within the household of the <br />employee. <br />ARTICLE XIV <br />BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br />All employees- shall be granted Bereavement Leave <br />according to the following schedule, to wit: <br />14.1. Upon the death of an immediate family member, other <br />than spouse, three (3) days; and <br />14.2. Upon the death <br />of a spouse, or a child of the <br />immediate family, five (5) days. <br />14.3. For the purposes of this Article, immediate family <br />shall mean: parents; parents of spouse; brother; sister; brother <br />of spouse; sister of spouse; grandparent; grandchild; as well as <br />relative living in the employee's home. <br />14.4. Bereavement leave shall be exclusive of sick time or <br />any other accumulated time. <br />ARTICLE XV <br />GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE <br />15.1. The term "grievance" shall mean an allegation by a <br />bargaining unit employee that there has been a breach, <br />misinterpretation, or improper application of this agreement. <br />(21) <br />
