' ~, <br />shift, preferably during his working hours. Interrogation sessions <br />shall be for reasonable periods of time, and time shall be allowed <br />during such questioning for attendance to physical necessities. <br />21.5. Before an officer may be charged with insubordination <br />or like offense for refusing to answer questions or participate in <br />an investigation, he shall be advised that such conduct, if <br />continued, may be made the basis for a charge, except no member <br />shall be charged with insubordination where such refusal is <br />premised on his exercise of the rights afforded him in Section <br />21.3 hereof. - <br />21.6. When an officer suspected of a violation is being <br />interrogated in an internal investigation, such interrogation <br />shall be recorded by the Police Department at the request of <br />either party. <br />21.7. The officer under interrogation and the investigator <br />shall not be subjected to abusive or threatening language.. No <br />promise of reward shall be made. <br />21.8. The officer under investigation shall be informed of <br />the names and addresses of all complainants and on request the <br />complainant may be informed of the name of the officer. The <br />investigating officer of the complaint may be the complainant. No <br />officer of the North Olmsted Police Department shall assume the <br />role and/or name of the original complainant. This does not apply <br />to criminal investigation. <br />(32) <br />
