r <br />A G R E E M E N T <br />This Agreement is made between the City of North Olmsted <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "City"), and Western Cuyahoga <br />Lodge No. 25 Fraternal Order of Police, North. Olmsted Division <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "F.O.P."). <br />The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a fair and <br />reasonable method of enabling employees covered by this Agreement <br />to participate, through representation, in the establishment of <br />terms and conditions of their employment, and to establish a <br />peaceful procedure for the resolution of differences between the <br />parties. <br />ARTICLE I <br />RECOGNITION <br />1.1. The Administration recognizes the F.O.P./Ohio Labor <br />Council as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for <br />all full-time Police Officers in the City of North Olmsted <br />comprised of the following two bargaining units: (1) Patrolmen <br />and (2) Sergeants through Captain, inclusive, and exclusive of <br />Chief of Police, for the purpose of collective bargaining with <br />respect to rates of pay, wages, hours of work and conditions of <br />employment. It is further understood by the parties that wages, <br />total complement of personnel, and certain other economic <br />provisions are subject to enactment of an appropriate ordinance by <br />the North Olmsted City Council pursuant to the City Charter. <br />(1) <br />
