CITY OF NORTH O1MS'TED <br />ORDINANCB NO. 91 -160 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO A2~ID SDCTIONS 1101.06 AMID 1101.09 OF Tf~ CODIFIID <br />ORDIlJANCFS ~' TOB CITY OF NORTH OI~ISTED, AS ArfE~IDID. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga <br />County, State of Ohio that: <br />SECTION 1: Section 1101.06 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, which now reads as follows: <br />"1101.06 DEPOSIT FOR INSPECTION OF MAJOR SUBDIVISION <br />Unless the developer submits, and Council accepts, a petition described in <br />Section 1101.11, the developer's engineer shall furnish an itemized estimate of <br />the cost of construction of all required improvements for the approval of the <br />City Engineer. When the estimate is approved by the City Engineer, One <br />Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or four percent (4%) of the approved estimate, <br />whichever is greater, shall be deposited by the developer with the City for <br />inspection and testing before Council approval. <br />The cost of inspection shall be calculated on the basis of Thirty-Five <br />Dollars (35.00) for each hour spent by the City Engineer's office for <br />inspection and Fifty-Five Dollars ($55.00) for each hour spent by the City <br />Engineer and Assistant City Engineer. <br />If the deposit is more than the actual cost, the remainder shall be <br />refunded. If the cost of inspection is greater than the deposit, the deficient <br />amount shall be paid to the City by the developer before construction is <br />permitted to continue." <br />BE AND TIIE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED, AND AS AMENDED, SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: <br />"1101.06 DEPOSIT FOR INSPECTION OF MAJOR SUBDIVISION. <br />When plans are submitte to the Engineering Department by a developer for a <br />major subdivision, One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) shall be deposited by the <br />developer with the City for preliminary inspection activities, including plan <br />review. Unless the developer submits, and Council accepts, a petition <br />described in Section 1101.11, the developer's engineer shall furnish an itemized <br />estimate of the cost of construction of all required improvements for the <br />approval of the City Engineer. When the estimate is approved by the City <br />Engineer, Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) or five percent (5%) of the approved <br />estimate, whichever is greater, shall be deposited by the developer tiaith the <br />City for inspection and testing before Council approval, and such deposit shall <br />be in addition to the initial deposit of One Thousand Dollars at the time of <br />plan submission. <br />The cost of inspection shall be calculated on the basis of Forty Dollars <br />for each hour spent by the City Engineer's office for inspection and Sixty <br />Dollars ($60.00) for each hour spent by the City Engineer and Assistant City <br />Engineer. <br />
