"1135.08 REAR YARD REQUIREMENTS. <br />A. Minimum DeQths. In One and Two Family Residence Districts, the mini- <br />mum depth of the rear yard shall be 50 feet. <br />B. Computation of Depths. In computing the minimum rear yard requirements, <br />the following rules shall prevail: <br />1. The depth required shall be determined exclusive of any portion used for <br />accessory structures. <br />2. In case the rear lot line is not parallel with the street line, the average depth <br />shall be used. <br />3. On a through lot, the setback requirements set forth in Section 1135.06 <br />shall prevail and not the rear yard requirements of this section. <br />4. A cornice projecting not more than 24 inches or a fence shall not reduce <br />the required minimum distance. " <br />S. Where a stairwell for access to below grade portions of a dwelling has been <br />legally constructed prior to the adoption of this code, the installation of an enclosure or <br />covering of this stairwell shall be excluded when computing rear yard depths. <br />SECTION Z. That the Clerk of Council be, and she is hereby directed to cause notice <br />of a public hearing hereon to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14, Article 4 of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 3. Any ordinance or parts of ordinances hereinbefore adopted that are <br />inconsistent herewith are specifically repealed. <br />SECTION 4.
