PROPOSED ISSUE <br />A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. <br />Shall the land located along Lorain Road, between Stearns Road and the CEI right-of-way, be <br />rezoned from General Retail Business District to Mixed Use "D" District, in order to provide <br />for the development of multiple dwelling, elderly housing, cluster single family, office building, <br />and local retail business uses in the area. <br />Yes <br />No <br />ec ion 5: That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directly to forward <br />a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 6: That the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County shall cause to be duly given <br />appropriate notice of an election to be held on , 1994, on the foregoing <br />issue, and atherwise shall provide for such election in the matter provided for by the general laws <br />of the State of Ohio. <br />Section 7: That the Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to cause notice of the <br />election for the requested land use change to be published in at least two (2) newspapers of <br />general circulation three (3) separate times prior to the election, the first notice appearing not less <br />than five (5) weeks prior to said election, and the last at least ten (10) days prior to said election, <br />in accordance with Article VII, Section 2(e), of the North Olmsted Charter. <br />Section 8: That there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund a sufficient sum of <br />money to pay the costs of carrying out the authorizations and directions of this Ordinance. <br />ecti n 9: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest <br />period allowed by law and the Charter of North Olmsted. <br />
