PROPOSED ISSUE A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. Shall the land located along Lorain Road, between Stearns Road and the CEI right-of-way, be rezoned from General Retail Business District to Mixed Use "D" District, in order to provide for the development of multiple dwelling, elderly housing, cluster single family, office building, and local retail business uses in the area. Yes No ec ion 5: That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directly to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. Section 6: That the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County shall cause to be duly given appropriate notice of an election to be held on , 1994, on the foregoing issue, and atherwise shall provide for such election in the matter provided for by the general laws of the State of Ohio. Section 7: That the Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to cause notice of the election for the requested land use change to be published in at least two (2) newspapers of general circulation three (3) separate times prior to the election, the first notice appearing not less than five (5) weeks prior to said election, and the last at least ten (10) days prior to said election, in accordance with Article VII, Section 2(e), of the North Olmsted Charter. Section 8: That there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund a sufficient sum of money to pay the costs of carrying out the authorizations and directions of this Ordinance. ecti n 9: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law and the Charter of North Olmsted.
