CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 93-104 BY.• MAYOR EDWARD BOYLE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1139.01 (B) OF THE NORTH OLMSTED ZONING CODE, ENTITLED "PERMITIED BUILDINGS AND USES, "FOR PURPOSES OF RESTRICTING THE LOCATIDNS OF USED CAR LOTS IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. WHEREAS, this council believes that it is in the best interest of the safety, health and welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted to restrict the location of used car lots existing independent of established new car dealerships; and ? H REAS, after careful consideration, the Planning Commission of the City, on the /? day of ., 1993, recommended approval of the aforesaid amendment to the Zoning Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That Section 1139.01 (B), entitled "Permitted Buildings and Uses," which presently reads: "(b) Permitted Buildings and Uses. In a General Retail Business District, land may be used and buildings may be designed, built, altered or used only for one or more of the following permitted uses: (1) Any use permitted in the least restrictive Residence District adjacent to any part of such General Retail Business District subject to the requirements of such Residence District. (2) Single family cluster dwellings as regulated in Chapter 1136. (3) Retail business. A. The retail sale of baked goods, confectionery, dairy products, delicatessen, fruits, vegetables, groceries, meats and beverages; B. The sale of dry goods and variety merchandise; C. The sale of hardware, household appliances, television and radio, paint, wallpaper, materials and objects for interior decorating; D. The sale of books, magazines, newspapers, tobacco products, drugs, flowers, gifts, music, photographic equipment, sporting goods and stationery;
