<br />?.x?. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 93-104 <br />BY.• MAYOR EDWARD BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1139.01 (B) OF THE <br />NORTH OLMSTED ZONING CODE, ENTITLED <br />"PERMITIED BUILDINGS AND USES, "FOR PURPOSES OF <br />RESTRICTING THE LOCATIDNS OF USED CAR LOTS IN <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED. <br />WHEREAS, this council believes that it is in the best interest of the safety, health and <br />welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted to restrict the location of used car lots existing <br />independent of established new car dealerships; and <br />? <br />H REAS, after careful consideration, the Planning Commission of the City, on the /? <br />day of ., 1993, recommended approval of the aforesaid amendment to the Zoning Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 1139.01 (B), entitled "Permitted Buildings and Uses," which <br />presently reads: <br />"(b) Permitted Buildings and Uses. In a General Retail Business District, land may <br />be used and buildings may be designed, built, altered or used only for one or more of the <br />following permitted uses: <br />(1) Any use permitted in the least restrictive Residence District adjacent to any <br />part of such General Retail Business District subject to the requirements <br />of such Residence District. <br />(2) Single family cluster dwellings as regulated in Chapter 1136. <br />(3) Retail business. <br />A. The retail sale of baked goods, confectionery, dairy products, <br />delicatessen, fruits, vegetables, groceries, meats and beverages; <br />B. The sale of dry goods and variety merchandise; <br />C. The sale of hardware, household appliances, television and radio, <br />paint, wallpaper, materials and objects for interior decorating; <br />D. The sale of books, magazines, newspapers, tobacco products, drugs, <br />flowers, gifts, music, photographic equipment, sporting goods and <br />stationery; <br />
