Reauest <br />Green Machine Network Corporation, a subsidiary of IIectronic Payment Services, <br />Inc. is requesting Enterprise Zone status for its leased facilities at 25209 Country Club <br />Blvd. The designation of this status will pI,ovide Green Machine and Its Parent <br />corporation the competitive economic incentives required to select North Olmsted and <br />Technology Park as the site for Midwest Data Center. <br />N, Benefits <br />The benefits to EPS of having two data proce.ssing centers are several. Customer <br />service is enhanced by locating the facility close to the client base. Client costs are <br />reduced, especiaily in the area of telecommunications. This provides a competitive <br />advantage to EPS. Also, a midwest facility sends a strong message of commitment <br />from EPS to this market. <br />The primary benefit to the City of the locarion of the Midwest facility in North <br />Olmsted will be in the area of employmenL Grm Mac}une currendy employees 34 <br />full-time employees (FTE). These positions will remain with the Midwest facility. In <br />addition, as EPS consolidates operations in North Olmsted and expands the Midwest <br />Market, employment levels will be increased. The attached Exhibit shows projected <br />employment levels at Green Machine basefl on esamates of business activity. <br />Should a North Olmsted location be deemed not suitable for economics, logistics, etc., <br />the loss of 55 jobs is possible. While regional sales and service offices would still be <br />located here, the administrative and data processing services may be moved to <br />Delaware. <br />
