THE CITY OF North Olmsted <br />TIiIS AGREEMENT IS made 2. day of April, 1923, between the City <br />of Cleveland ("Cleveland"), a municipal corporation of the State of <br />Ohio, through its Director of Port Control, pursuant to and in <br />accordance with the authority of Ordinance No. 544-79 passed June <br />11, 1979, and the Citv of North Olmsted, a municipal corporation of <br />the State if Ohio, through its Mayor, pursuant to the authority of <br />its Ordinance No. passed , 19?. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. Cleveland desires to provide for back-up emerqency, <br />medical services and equipment capability in the event of <br />an aircraft accident or other disaster at Cleveland <br />Hopkins International Airport. <br />2. The City of North Olmsted desires to have available to it <br />for back-up capability EMS and equipment of the Cleveland <br />Division of Airports, Safety and Aircraft Rescue <br />Firefighting Unit personnel. <br />3. Each party hereto is willing to enter into a mutual aid <br />aqreement with the other in order to obtain the <br />availability of the services of the other under the terms <br />and conditions of this Agreement. <br />In consideration of the foregoing and the mutual covenants set <br />forth herein, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />I. SERVICES <br />A. Upon the request of the Director of Public Safety or <br />other duly authorized officer of City of North Olmsted, <br />Cleveland Hopkins International Airport shall, to the <br />extent it is able to do so without, in its sole opinion, <br />imperiling the safety of its citizens and property, and <br />without establishing any station or locating any <br />equipment outside the Cleveland corporate limits, furnish <br />such pieces of emergency medical equipment or personnel.
