Employees shall be allowed not less than sixty <br />(60) uninterrupted minutes for a scheduled lunch period daily <br />except for other schedules mutually agreed upon with the Union. <br />The lunch period shall count as time worked for all purposes, <br />including computation of overtime. <br />Section 4. Employees will be paid time and one-half (1 1/2) <br />of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of <br />eight (8) in any one work day and time and one half t1 1/2) of <br />- their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of <br />forty (40) hours in any one work week. In the interest of Health <br />and Safety, management may send an employee (Recreation Dept. <br />Maintenance only) home before he completes his regular scheduled <br />shift when the employee has worked the maxirnum consecutive <br />emergency overtime hours. Such regularly scheduled shift hours <br />not worked shall be credited toward the forty (40) hour work week <br />requirement for any subsequent overtime hours worked. A work day <br />is a twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at the start of the <br />employee's scheduled shift. Hours worked on a day designated as <br />a holiday in Article 16 shall be paid at two times (2X) the <br />employee's straight time rate of pay for hours worked in addition <br />to regular holiday pay in accordance with Article 16. Hours <br />worked on a Sunday shall be paid at two times (2X) the employee's <br />straight time rate of pay, except for employees regularly <br />scheduled to work on that Sunday. <br />Section 5.
