SIItVICES PE.tTAINIlNG TO PREL_rMrxAitv <br />PLANS, (MASB I) 10 PROVIDS UtADING, DRADiAGE, LMMSCAPING ANID FIIJCIlVG <br />F()R 7HE ADDITION OF AN EAR1H MO(JDID ALONG THE PROPOSED CROCKER-STEARNS ROAD <br />IN 7H9 CITY OF NORTH 0LMSTED, ANID DFJCL,QiRIlVG AN IIrIE[tGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended that the services of the engineering firm of <br />Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff be hired to accomplish the aforesaid project <br />due to their expertise in this field; and <br />WdEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Mayor, this Council does hereby express <br />its desire to have the Mayor enter into a Contract with said firm for and an <br />behalf of the City. <br />NOTd, '1'FIItEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'II3E COUNCIL OF 'II3E CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />COUNI'Y OF CUYAHOGA, AND STAIE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Ma.yor be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a Contract with Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff for the purpose of <br />providing engineering services pertaining to preliminary plans (Phase I) for <br />providing grading, drainage, landscaping and fencing for the addition of an <br />earth mound along the proposed Crocker-Stearns Road in the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an esnergency measure <br />imnediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />weTfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary to proceed <br />with the preliminary plans and further that, provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of a11 members of Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />1 <br />PASSED: <br />ST: <br />`r ?K ` W?
