Passed 8-5-75) <br />1309.04 BRANCH CIRCUITS. <br />National Electrical Code Article 210, Branch Circuits, is amended <br />by adding Sections 210-71, as follows: <br />210-71. Wall Switches. <br />At least one outlet controlled by a wall switch shall be provided <br />for each habitable room, kitchen, toiletroom and bathroom. A <br />lighting outlet shall be provided at laundry trays, boilers, furnaces <br />and other central heating devices. Three-way switches shall be <br />provided for all stairways to control lighting outlets illuminating <br />such stairways. <br />1309.05 SERVICES. <br />National Electrical Code Article 230, Section 212, is hereby added <br />to read as follows: <br />230-212 Services. All new services shall be installed in basements <br />or first floor level only. (Ord. 72-192. Passed 12-5-72) <br />1309.06 SWIMMING POOLS. <br />National Electrical Code Article 680, Section 64, is hereby added <br />to read as follows: <br />680-64 Swimming Pools - General. <br />(a) No concrete shall be poured until electrical inspection is <br />made on grounding and bonding at the pool. <br />(b) No sidewalk or deck shall be poured until electrical <br />inspection is made of all conduit and boxes. <br />(c) All wiring shall be inspected for proper wiring before the <br />pool is used.
