-4 ' - <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this council does hereby establish a Blue Ribbon Committee to assist <br />this council in developing a Charter Amendment providing for a politically neutral method of <br />compensating the Mayor, Director of Law and Director of Finance on an annual basis during <br />their respective terms in office. <br />SECTION 2: That the committee specified in Section 1 hereof shall consist of seven (7) <br />members chosen by a majority vote of council, with at least five (5) of the members having <br />experience in one of the following areas of discipline: Education, Financing/Banking, <br />Accounting, Business Management, Personnel, Communication, Government, Law or other field <br />of endeavor or skill that in council's judgment would assist in said study. The remaining two <br />(2) members shall be chosen from the general population of the City. <br />SECTION 3: That the recommendations of the committee shall be made on or before <br />May 1, 1993. <br />SECTION 4: That this council hereby designates the Clerk of Council to assist the <br />committee in performing their study. <br />SECTION 5: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary to appoint a committee immediately in order to meet the <br />completion date of May 1, 1993, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- <br />thirds of all members of council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED:? a 3 <br />ATTEST: r' BARBARA L.
