Exhibit A - Current Version <br />CHAPTER 155 <br />Parks and Recreation Commission <br />155.01 Powers and duties. <br />155.02 Meetings; quorum. <br />155.03 Attendance; replacement of delinquent member. <br />155.04 Determination of Chairman, Vice-Chairman, meeting schedule. <br />155.05 Appointment and duties of secretary. <br />155.06 Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners. <br />155.07 Commission duties. <br />155.08 Council; parks and recreational facility improvements. <br />155.09 Board of Education. <br />155.10 Recreational goals. <br />155.11 Employees. <br />155.12 Annual budget. <br />155.13 Capital improvement fund. <br />155.14 Approval of Division recreation expenditures. <br />155.15 Council approval of capital expenditures. <br />155.16 Personnel. <br />155.01 Powers and Duties. <br />As established by the City Charter, Article VII, Section 3, the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission shall have, in addition to those specified by the Charter, such duties as are <br />designated by Council, and shall plan, provide and implement recreational programs and <br />facilities for the City, all to be carried out within the annual budget for the Division of <br />Parks and Recreation, recommended by the Commission and approved by Council. The <br />Commission shall work closely with the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings <br />Committee of Council on all recreational programs. The Commission and the Committee <br />shall jointly submit an annual budget to the Finance Committee of Council, which must <br />be approved by Council as a whole, and shall make recommendations on employee <br />salaries and capital improvements. <br />155.02 Meetings; quorum. <br />The Parks and Recreation Commission shall hold at least one regular monthly meeting <br />during each calendar month, such meeting to be open to the public and held in a public <br />building, preferably City Hall, and a minimum of four members must be present to enact <br />any official business. In addition to the aforesaid monthly public meeting the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission may, at its discretion, authorize the Commission Chairman to <br />call such additional special public or closed meetings as the Commission feels are or may <br />be necessary to properly discharge its duties and responsibilities. <br />155.03 Attendance; replacement of delinquent member
