? <br />? <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Request for Proposals <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT <br />The City of North Olmsted is seeking proposals for the position of Economic Development <br />Consultant. This newly created position will be responsible for planning, organizing and <br />administering programs that encourage economic development in the City. Duties include, but <br />are not limited to the creation of strategies to improve the economic conditions in the City <br />through the development, expansion and retention of businesses and the recruitment of new <br />businesses and jobs. <br />1. INSTRUCTIONS <br />To be eligible for consideration, the proposing individual or firm must be capable of providing <br />the services as set forth herein and must also be able to meet all other criteria outlined in this <br />request for proposals. <br />2. PROJECT COORDINATION/INQUIRIES <br />Kimberly Wenger, Director of Planning, will be the supervisor for this position. SUBMITTAL DATE AND LOCATION <br />Three (3) copies of all proposals must be received by the City of North Olmsted at the above <br />referenced address by 12:00 p.m., on _, 2007. Late proposals will not be accepted, and any <br />proposal so received shall be returned to the proposing firm unopened. Proposals must be <br />submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked "PROPOSAL - ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />CONSULTANT." <br />4. CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSALS <br />A. Any proposals submitted to the City are to be prepared at the Proposer's expense. <br />B. Any assumptions made by the Proposer in preparing the proposal must be listed <br />separately and attached to the proposal in writing. <br />C. The City does not obligate itself to accept any proposal. <br />D. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and will have no liability <br />whatsoever to any Proposer whose proposal is not accepted.
