<br /> <br />, Resolution No. 2006 - 183 <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to negotiate and enter <br />into an agreement with the Westshore Council of Governments ("WCOG"), and the cities of <br />Bay Village, Fairview Park, Rocky River and Westlake, providing for the City of North <br />Olmsted to participate in the central fire dispatch center at St. John West Shore Hospital, in <br />Westlake, Ohio, on such reasonable terms and conditions as the Mayor may negotiate. Said <br />agreement shall be in a form and substance that is acceptable to the Mayor and the Director of <br />Law. The character of any terms and conditions in such agreement as not being substantially <br />adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the agreement by the <br />Mayor and the approval of the agreement by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this Resolution immediately go into effect so that North <br />Olmsted may participate in the WCOG central fire dispatch center and thereby improve the <br />safety of the residents of North Olmsted at the earliest possible date, and further provided that <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the members of this Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST.• <br />BARBARA L.
