?- .?..
?-
Resolution No. 2006 -177
SECTION 2: That this Council further ratifies and affirms the actions of the Fire
Chief in both committing the City to payment for the purchase of said Life Pak 12 Unit
without first complying with either City purchase order procedures or City contracting
procedures, and in trading in City property without a determination by the City Council that
the property was no longer needed for any municipal purpose. In so ratifying the Fire Chief s
actions, this Council specifically finds that the Life Pak unit that was traded in by the Chief
was, in fact, no longer needed for any municipal purpose and that the trade-in value received
by the City in the transaction was fair and reasonable.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, of
this City and for the further reason that this Resolution is required to be immediately effective,
because R.C. Section 5705.41(D) requires that this Council officially act on this matter within
30 days following certification by the Director of Finance; and further provided it receives the
affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED: ce???Cu..v 1 do 6
A
0 ?
BARBARA L.
