CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2006 - 164 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF <br />THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BY <br />REZONING PERMANENT PARCEL NUMBERS 233-06-001, <br />233-06-002, 233-06-003, 233-06-004, 233-06-005, 233-06-006, <br />233-06-007, 233-06-008, 233-06-019, 233-06-021, 233-07-002, <br />233-07-0039 233-07-009, 233-07-025, 233-07-028, 234-0S-004, <br />AND 234-06-006 , LOCATED IN THE BARTON-BRADLEY <br />ROADS AREA, FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE CURRENT <br />ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LIMITED INDUSTRIAL, <br />MIXED USE, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AND/OR <br />MULTIPLE RESIDENCE, SOME OF WHICH ARE SPLIT- <br />ZONED, TO THE NEW RESIDENTIAL OFFICE DISTRICT <br />CLASSIFICA TION AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, the City's most recent Master Plan found that a number of parcels of land in <br />the vicinity of Barton and Bradley Roads currently zoned variously for limited industry, mixed <br />use, multiple family, and single family use, some of which are split-zoned, pose an obstacle for <br />orderly development in that area of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Master Plan recommended that all of said parcels be rezoned to an <br />appropriate single residential classification; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Zoning Code Committee, chaired by the City Director of <br />Planning, has recently reviewed the recommendations of the City Master Plan and has <br />recommended legislation creating a new residential office zoning district in the City Zoning <br />Code which would permit certain compatible office uses to exist alongside single family <br />residence uses within the said district; and <br />WHEREAS, the said Zoning Code Committee has also recommended that the said <br />parcels of land in the vicinity of Barton and Bradley Roads currently zoned variously for limited <br />industry, mixed use, multiple family, and single family use, some of which are split-zoned, be <br />rezoned to this new residential office district classification; and
