Ordinance No. 2006 - 146 <br />(b) No person, while waiting to make or receive deliveries at a <br />commercial establishment shall permit the engine or a motor vehicle, if it is <br />located within 250 feet of a residential building, to remain running for any <br />length of time between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br />(c) Every owner and tenant of a commercial establishment located <br />within 250 feet of a residential building shall post, or cause to be posted, a sign <br />or signs stating, "No Deliveries or Pick-ups or Running of Engines Between <br />9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.". A sign or signs shall be posted on the building of <br />the commercial establishment where deliveries or pick-ups are made and/or <br />where trash is removed. The height of the sign or signs shall be at eye level <br />with truck traffic." <br />BE AMENDED, AND AS AMENDED, SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: <br />"741.03 PROHIBITIONS. <br />(a) No person shall deliver or cause to be delivered, or accept <br />delivery of, any goods or merchandise to or at a commercial establishment <br />within 250 feet of a residential building between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and <br />7:30 a.m. <br />(b) No person, while waiting to make or receive deliveries at a <br />commercial establishment shall permit the engine or a motor vehicle, if it is <br />located within 250 feet of a residential building, to remain running for any <br />length of time between 9:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. <br />(c) Every owner and tenant of a commercial establishment located <br />within 250 feet of a residential building shall post, or cause to be posted, a sign <br />or signs stating, "No Deliveries or Pick-ups or Running of Engines Between <br />9:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m.". The height of the sign or signs shall be at eye level <br />with truck traffic." <br />SECTION 2: That any Ordinance, or part of any Ordinance, which is inconsistent <br />with or in conflict with this Ordinance, shall, to the extent of any such inconsistency or <br />conflict, be, and hereby is, repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period provided for by law. <br />2
