GEt?'?L. a ?vo yara, courl; or other open space, provided <br />about any b red as s a ru efor to1 othersopen space for another buildingnor, <br />sha11 be conside Yard, court r <br />structure. <br />(b) In any District, yards or courts, even though not specifically set <br />forth in the "Schedule of Height and area Reguladtions" shall be provided for a lot <br />upon which a building intended to include living or sleeping accommodations is to <br />be located, unless at least one window in each room wherein people are intended <br />to live or sleep shall open directly upon a stroet. I ?dhera required, such yards <br />or courts shall be so arranged that at least one window in each room wherein <br />people are intended to live or sleep shall open directly upon a front yard; or <br />upon a rear yard not less than fifteen (15) fec;t in depth; or upon a court of <br />dimensions prescribed herein in Section 31; or upon a side yard not less than <br />three (3) feet, or less than one and one-half (1?) feet for each story of bui].d- <br />ing height, in width. <br />(c) In maasuring the width and depth of the yards prescribed herein, <br />a cornice projecting not more than twelvc (12) inches, or a fence, shall not be <br />held to reduce such required dimensions. <br />(d) A porch may be erected in a front or rea.r yard, provided it be not <br />closer to an adjoining proparty line than the required widtll of the side yard. <br />Section 2$. FRONT YA3,DS AND STRL.L-,,T F1tON'r.iGE. <br />(a) For a corner lot in any tesidance District or in a Retail or Ipcal <br />Business District, the rainimum depth of yard along either frontage sha11 be the <br />depth of yard which is requirod along the sarae street for the adjoining lot; pro- <br />vided that nothing in this provision shall be; so interpreted as to reduce the <br />buildable width of acorner lot of record at the tine of passage of this ordinance <br />to less than twunty-five (25) fe-et; or to require rnore than one yard? adjacent to <br />the street lines, in excess of twenty-five (25) feet in depth (or wi.dth.) <br />(b) Only one dwelling shall be constructed on a parcel of land havi.ng <br />a frontage of less than sixty (60) feet and a depth of five hundred (500) feet. <br />Section 29.
