..~.. <br />` 07=Dec-1994 <br />D <br />R A <br />F T <br />T H R E E <br />.5 Days - "Days" shall mean business days, when the Authority's general <br />business offices are opened for regular business. <br />.6 Capital Improvement - "Capital Improvement" is an item (or an <br />improvement of a previously acquired item or items), which meets all of the <br />following criteria: (a) the cost exceeds $1,000; (b) it has long-term <br />character, that is, it is expected to be held or used for longer than one year. <br />In the case of an improvement of a previously acquired item or items, a capital <br />improvement extends the expected useful life of the item by more than one year; <br />(c) it retains its original shape and appearance with use; (d) it is <br />non-expendable, that is, if it is damaged or some of its parts are lost or worn <br />out, it is usually more feasible to repair it than to replace it with an <br />entirely new unit; (e) it does not lose its identify through incorporation into <br />a different or more complex unit or substance. <br />.7 Transit Facilities - "Transit facility" shall mean buses, and other <br />vehicles and equipment that the City uses to provide the contracted service. <br />.8 Transit Personnel - "Transit personnel" shall mean those persons <br />employed by the City's Department of Public Transportation also known as the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line that are required for the operation -and <br />maintenance of the transit facilities and other personnel as are necessary to <br />provide the contracted service. <br />.9 Contracted Service - "Contracted service" shall mean the public <br />transit service provided by the City for the Authority under the terms. and <br />conditions of this Agreement. <br />.10 Service Policy - "Service Policy" shall mean those standards <br />-3- <br />
