07=Dec-1994 <br />D R A F T T H R E E <br />utilized by the Authority for the purpose of determining levels and frequency <br />of public transit service along specified routes and/or the establishment of <br />new routes. <br />2. SCOPE OF SERVICE <br />2.1 In and for the consideration herein, the City agrees to do all things <br />necessary to manage, operate and maintain a public transportation system to <br />Authority's satisfaction as required by this Agreement, including, but not <br />limited to, the following: <br />.1 Executive and administrative management: employment and supervision <br />of all personnel, including managers, drivers, dispatchers, supervisors, <br />service and maintenance personnel; provision of qualified supervisory <br />personnel. <br />.2 Day-to-day operation of public transit service, including <br />dispatching services and maintenance. <br />.3 Provision of adequate maintenance and storage facilities for-buses <br />and all other equipment used to provide the contracted service. <br />.4 Provision of a satisfactory spare parts/component/supplies inventory <br />for Authority-provided buses and all other equipment used to provide the <br />contracted service; provision of all small operational related items such as <br />cleaning materials, rags, nuts and bolts, and office supplies. <br />.5 Provision of all equipment not otherwise provided by Authority. <br />.6 Assisting in public relations and sales promotion regarding the. <br />contracted service required, including telephone information services, posting <br />transit related advertisements inside buses and distributing schedules to <br />riders. <br />-4- <br />
