The Authority shall consider such claim or <br />objection and notify the City within seven (7) business days of its decision. <br />The City retains the right to appeal any dispute not resolved in accordance <br />with section 29 of this Agreement. <br />5.2 The bus operator training/safety program, preventative maintenance and <br />repair program, maintenance procedures and safety procedures utilized by the <br />City shall meet the minimum requirements established by the Authority for <br />Authority personnel. <br />5 3 The Authority agrees that at the City's request it will provide bus <br />operator training and maintenance training to City transit personnel at no cost <br />to the City. Such training programs shall be the same as provided to <br />Authority personnel. <br />6. SERVICE <br />6.1 The City agrees to provide daily public transit services with such <br />frequency, in such places and along such routes as the Authority may from time <br />to time direct.. This initial service, to be provided under this Agreement shall <br />comply with the Service Schedule attached hereto as Schedule 1. It is <br />expressly understood that the Authority shall have sole responsibility for <br />establishing the scheduled service. to be provided under this Agreement. The <br />Authority agrees to consider all comments and recommendations made by the City <br />which are submitted in accordance with section 6.4 herein. <br />6.2 The City agrees that during the period of this contract and any extension <br />thereof it will not, without the written approval of the Authority: <br />.1 Change or modify the nature or standards of the contracted services; <br />.2 Cancel, eliminate or reduce any route or diminish service or <br />-7- <br />
