leave time, but in all instances, the maximum amount paid shall not exceed an amount in excess of <br />one hundred and twenty (120) accumulated unused sick days in 1995 and thereafter. <br />14.9. Employees may use up to fifteen (15) work days per year of earned and <br />accumulated sick leave if necessitated by illness in the employee's immediate family. For purposes <br />of this subsection, "immediate family" shall be interpreted to be spouse, children, parents of the <br />employee, regardless of the place of residence; and other relatives living within the household of <br />the employee. <br />ARTICLE 15 <br />BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br />All employees shall be granted Bereavement Leave according to the following <br />schedule, to wit: <br />15.1. Upon the death of an immediate family member, other than spouse, three (3) days; <br />and <br />15.2. Upon the death of a spouse, or a child ofthe immediate family, five (5) days. <br />15.3. For the purposes of this Article, immediate family shall mean: parents; parents of <br />spouse; brother; sister; brother of spouse; sister of spouse; grandparent; grandchild; as well as <br />relative living in the employee's home. <br />15.4. Bereavement leave shall be exclusive of sick time or any other accumulated time. <br />ARTICLE 16 <br />GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE <br />16.1.
