M. _ _.~ ,....,,,,..._.. _ _ . * f 1 ' CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ~ /~1 ORDINANCE NO. 94-119 BY: PAT BAHAS AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED OF A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted and Constitution of the State of Ohio, this Council has determined to authorize and direct the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of a proposed Charter amendment hereinafter set forth at the General Election to be held on November 8, 1994, which election is not less than sixty (60) days nor more than one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the passage of this ordinance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO, TWO THIRDS OF ALL MEMBERS CONCURRING: SECTION 1: That this Council hereby authorizes and directs the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted at the General Election to be held at the usual places of voting on Tuesday, November 8, 1994, the following proposal to amend the Charter of the City of North Olmsted: PROPOSAL: That Section 1 of Article V of the Charter entitled "General Provisions" be amended to provide therein for the addition of a new department within the City entitled "Department of Budget and Management" and further providing for the amendment of Article V by adding thereto a new Section 7 entitled "Director of Budget and Management," such amended Section 1 of Article V and new Section 7 of Article V to read as follows: ARTICLE V ADNIINISTRATIVE OFFICERS AND DEPARTMENTS SECTION 1: GF.NF,R_A~ PROVISIONS A Department of Law, a Department of Finance, a Department of Public Safety, a
