<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 94-115 <br />BY.• MAYOR BOYLE <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE <br />SALE OF SURPLUS CITY OWNED VACANT PROPERTY <br />ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF BARYON ROAD AND <br />SITUATED TO THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF BRADLEY <br />ROAD AND BEARING PERMANENT PARCEL NUMBER <br />234-06-005, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that the vacant municipal property on the <br />Southwest side of Barton Road and situated to the Southeast of Bradley Road is no longer <br />needed for municipal purposes and as such is surplus in nature; and <br />WHEREAS, a minimum bid price for said surplus property has been established <br />through the Council authorized services of a professional land appraiser; and <br />WHEREAS, Council now seeks to dispose of said property by advertising for bids for <br />the sale of said property to the highest and best bidder. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the following described real estate belonging to the City of North <br />Olmsted is not needed for municipal purposes, to wit: <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio, and known as <br />being paR of Original Olmsted Township Lot No. 2, Tract 6, and being bounded and described <br />as follows: <br />Beginning in the centerline of Barton Road (60 feet wide) at the intersection with the centerline <br />of Bradley Road (60 feet wide) as recorded in Volume 245, Page 90 of Cuyahoga County Map <br />Records; <br />Thence, South 64 degrees- 34'-00" Eaat 403.88 feet along the centerline of Barton Road to an <br />angle deflecting to the right; <br />Thence, South 49 degrees- 07'-30" East 85.15 feet along the centerline of Balton Road to a <br />point; <br />Thence, South 40 degrees- 52'-30" West 30.00 feet to a point in the Westerly line of Barton <br />Road, said point being the Easterly point of Permanent Parcel No. 234-06-005 and the principal <br />place of beginning; <br />
