Committee, except for coverage or benefits not available to non-bargaining unit employees. SECTION 2: That all non-bargaining unit employees participating in any of the individual or family plans previously established by the Employee Health Care Committee shall contribute a monthly amount toward the premiums for his or her selected plan or plans equal to the amount for such plan or plans established by the Employee Health Care Committee. Said monthly employee contributions shall be withheld by payroll deduction not later than the first pay period of each month. SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby ordered and directed to make the necessary payroll deductions to accomplish the provisions of this Ordinance. SECTION 4: That all Ordinances or Resolutions, or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions inconsistent or in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency or conflict. SECTION 5: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is necessary for this Ordinance to go into effect immediately so that non-bargaining unit employees may fully participate in health care, dental and vision coverage as set forth herein, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
