CHAPTER 141 <br />Department of Public Service <br />141.01 Animal Warden. <br />141.02 Engineering Division <br /> established; duties. <br />141.03 Conflict of interest. <br />141.04 Division of Public Works. <br />141.05 Wastewater Treatment <br /> Section. <br />141.06 Bus service and fund <br /> established. <br />141.07 Organization. <br />141.08 Additional duties of Service <br /> Director. <br />141.09 Administrative Motor Vehicle <br /> Pool. <br />141.01 ANIMAL WARDEN. <br />EXHIBIT <br />~ ~JL1J <br />There is hereby established the position of Animal Warden. The Director of Public <br />Service shall appoint and remove the Animal Warden. The Animal Warden shall have authority <br />to enforce all of the provisions of Chapter 505 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances. As <br />such, the Animal Warden is authorized to issue and serve notices of complaints to persons found <br />violating any of the provisions of said Chapter 505. The Animal Warden shall perform such <br />other duties consistent with this position as may be assigned by the Director of Public Service. <br />141.02 ENGINEERING DIVISION ESTABLISHED; DUTIES. <br />There is hereby established a Division of Engineering within the Department of Public <br />Service, which shall be headed by a City Engineer, who is a civil engineer registered as a <br />professional engineer in the State of Ohio and whose duties shall be: <br />(a) To give advice to Council, the Service Director, the Mayor, the Planning and <br />Design Commission and other City administration officials on all problems <br />pertaining to engineering, zoning, building, sewers, development and repair of <br />property in the City, including, but not limited to, the streets therein; <br />(b) To attend all Council and Planning and Design Commission meetings and, when <br />requested, committee meetings and conferences, etc.; <br />(c) To deliver to Council periodic reports, or reports as requested, on progress of <br />improvements under his charge; <br />(d) To prepare and update all City zoning and street maps; <br />(e) To do any and all engineering work required by and for the City or its officials. <br />141.03 CONFLICT OF INTEREST. <br />The City Engineer or any of his employees shall not engage in any engineering services <br />for private developers who are developing areas in the City or any areas which abut the areas of <br />the City or who have just completed developing areas in the City within a period of one year <br />from the date such Engineer severs services with the City, unless such Engineer receives <br />permission, in writing, from a committee composed of the Mayor, President of Council, the <br />
