Director of Finance, the Director of Public Service, the Director of Public Safety and the <br />Director of Law. Such committee shall act upon any request to perform the prohibited services <br />within thirty days after receiving a written request from the City Engineer. <br />141.04 DIVISION OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />(a) There is hereby created in the Department of Public Service a Division of Public <br />Works which shall be supervised by one Public Works Commissioner who shall report and be <br />answerable directly to the Director of Public Service. The duties of the Public Works <br />Commissioner shall be as determined by the Director of Public Service. He shall supervise one <br />Secretary and all other personnel as hereinafter set forth. <br />(b) The Public Works Commissioner shall be responsible for all operations in the <br />Division of Public Works and all superintendents in such Division shall report directly to the <br />Public Works Commissioner. <br />(c) The Superintendent of the Public Service and Properties Section shall be in charge <br />of the Service Department, the Vehicle Maintenance Department and the Building Maintenance <br />Department. He shall serve under and report directly to the Public Works Commissioner and the <br />Director of Public Service. (Ord. 78-73. Passed 6-27-78.) <br />141.05 WASTEWATER TREATMENT SECTION. <br />(a) There is hereby created a Wastewater Treatment Section of the Public Works <br />Division of the City. Such Section includes the Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Collection <br />System and Lift Station personnel. <br />(b) The Public Works Commissioner shall be responsible for all operations of the <br />Section and all supervisors shall report directly to the Commissioner. <br />(Ord. 78-74. Passed 6-20-78.) <br />141.06 BUS SERVICE AND FUND ESTABLISHED. <br />The Municipality shall establish, maintain and furnish transportation, by Municipal bus <br />service, to its citizens to the Public Square of the City of Cleveland. Such service shall be <br />provided, maintained and furnished for all persons desiring transportation in or out of the City to <br />any point over the route of the bus service, and from any point over or on the route, on routes <br />established by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority pursuant to an operating <br />agreement with the City. <br />Any funds received from the operation of the Municipal bus service shall be placed in the <br />fund to be known as the Municipal Bus Fund. Such funds shall be used to maintain and pay for <br />the services hereby established, and are hereby appropriated for such purpose. Should such <br />funds be insufficient to provide for the maintenance of such service and the payment of costs in <br />connection therewith, any deficit shall be paid from the General Fund of the City, as hereafter <br />transferred to the Bus Fund. (Ord. 378. Passed 2-26-31.) <br />141.07 ORGANIZATION. <br />The Bus Department is under the jurisdiction of the Service Director of the City who <br />shall be in charge of all phases of operations and repairs, and who is authorized to employ <br />personnel as authorized by Council. <br />141.08 ADDITIONAL DUTIES OF SERVICE DIRECTOR. <br />The Director of Public Service shall be required to attend all regular meetings of the City <br />Council. <br />
