Intent of the Engineering Services: The City has prepared this RFP with the <br />intention of retaining the services of an engineering firm to: <br />1. Make observations of the Sanitary and Storm Sewer Systems; <br />2. Submit proposals to the City for the resolution of storm and sanitary water <br />conveyance issues during wet weather. <br />3. Estimate the costs of construction/demolition including labor for proposals; and <br />4. Preparation of specifications, drawings and other bid documents. <br />B. Basic Scope of the Engineering Services: In providing the Scope of Services, the <br />engineering firm will place special emphasis on: <br />1. See attached Page 4, Executive Summary, General Recommendations. <br />2. See attached Page 6, Work Plan. <br />C. Specific Scope of the (Major) Phase II Services: In providing the Scope of <br />Services, the engineering firm shall include the following specific duties: <br />1. See attached Executive Summary, Residential Program. <br />2. Ibid., Storm System. <br />3. Ibid., Sanitary. <br />4. Ibid., Pump Stations. <br />
