I am a civil engineer registered as a professional engineer in the State of Ohio and President <br />of Mayfield Engineering and Construction Management, Inc. Upon review of my resume I hope that <br />you will agree that my skill set and past experience appear to match the current needs of the City. <br />We are prepared to begin work immediately. I have met with Ms. Cathy Becker and you to ascertain <br />the Division of Engineering's work load and immediate needs. I am confident that we can step into the <br />position of City Engineer just in time for the up coming busy construction season. Preliminarily, I view <br />the priorities of the City Engineer to be as follows: <br />• Provide timely and sound advice to Council, the Service Director, the Mayor, the Planning <br />Commission and other City administration officials; <br />• Provide oversight of consultants and contractors for the Clague Road project and the <br />Renovation of the City Hall Main Entrance and <br />• Assist you and Ms Becker in the day to day operations of the Division of Engineering. <br />We propose to provide these services on a part-time basis and by being on call 24/7. The attached list <br />of Duties and Responsibilities and Fee Proposal are submitted for your review, consideration and <br />discussion. I am committed to tailoring the Duties and Responsibilities to best serve the City of North <br />Olmsted.
